I Can't Beleive It....
...but I'm forced to hand it Wynn for comments re Executive spending on the Pan Am Games. The Torie's Finance Critic...makes the now in hiding Tim HuDat... look like an animated speaker. And he ain't. And HuDat ain't.
Tea, Coffee and costs for relocating a pet from the West Coast to Pan Am Heaven...? This isn't just too much" from an over-tapped taxpayer, as the Tories blurted. Instead its a lack of respect, and a blatant lack of fear for optics. At 1.4 billion the Chairman says ...no problem, we're within budget.... Yes likely. 900 Million for what the games should cost...and 500 million for Party money.
Now Wynn being upset does have some humour....it was her party that struck the Pan Am games deal,,,,,another Mr McGuinty leave-behind......
Add did you hear about Woodbine and the Ontario Jockey Club.... please please let me into the Club.
And the Tories with Mr HuDat...so quiet.... so busy working on...working on what? Does anybody care?
Tim - I'm looking for a Hero, but you got'a get on stage. And animate! You got a great smile, and such nice teeth. Now bite!

Did someone say Peter Shurman??
On Peter Shurman.... See my writings of Jan 3 2012, below.
Peter you didn't care then..... and you seem as bull right now....and I think I quote you when you this week said..."I don't game the system". You certainly do Sir. You played it like a toy train.
And Hudack's latest mistake.... you should have been removed from Caucus, not just dismissed as Finance Critic.
And speaking of Mr. Hudack, see below

Who remebers Clearnet ?
That was "the little company that could". Its a repeated event in the Canadian cell biz - little companies start, the "players" wait till they gasp, and buy them "out". The fella from Bell - George started there - Clearnet, he and his "little company that could" was bought by Telus there he sojourned with Darren for a while - then he moved to Bell - as boss (again).
And all of this is the cycle of business. Eat, grow. But then a new fish comes to the pond - and these mega-eaters bring a schoolyard concept to their averous existence - "fair". Huh?
Not to single out Bell by any means - the wireless, landline, cable and owners of significant media outlets in this fine Dominion,
make themselves so impossibly difficult to deal with - customers must invest significant amounts of time, not to get a better deal, but more - just to get the "deal" they thought they'd bought.
The THREE continue to play card after card to pull our heartstrings of National Pride. I've still not met a sympathetic ear. Guys, ask yourselves, turn the surveys inward - and look for real answers - why does nobody care? In the answer you will find a path to a solution of your largest dilemma - not only is there indifference across the land, instead the "other guys" actually have a cheering section and a big one on this side of the 49th.

HMM, Pip, Pip The Upper House
Events futures and continuum's are "managed" by managing the 'conversation'. The Upper House is where a lucky one goes at a stage of life, when they no longer need to work, or feed at the trough in a back room of power, but instead step-out into the lime light, a reward for back room, swaggering in the murky shadows of power, and for some a golden opportunity to travel the country and the globe to create their epitaph.
So the Senators - this Honourable group of fine folks, need to change the conversation, from the current, to..., to anything. This week's switch-up - Rail Car Safety. Notwithstanding a significant Federal Bureaucracy that deals with, confers, inspects, travels to far off destinations to set standards from wonderful beaches at Best Practices Conferences. But back to the Senators, they at this time need to re-shine the light - somewhere else....so they release a report about the pro-active need to accelerate the plan to retire old rail tanker cars - now!
In Shakespearean England they might call this - Ironic Relief, or maybe, Tragic Comedy - but here we call it a reason for a headline in the News.
Mr Harper, timing, please read this Report from the Upper House, grab the concepts of "Early", "Retire" and maybe instead of Rail Tank Cars, and while reading the mood of the People, maybe, just maybe, your shake-up could involve some upper house of fine honourable folks. Such a bold, often talked about move, would both change and "manage" your conversation with many.
